Cherokee County for the win!!! It will be an epic rematch in the GHSA 7A State Baseball Championships as two powerhouse baseball programs, Woodstock High School and Etowah High School, battle it out for the state title. What better way to celebrate the legendary rivalry within Cherokee County than bringing together our community for a greater cause!!!

Let's see which team's FAN BASE can raise more funds towards a beloved organization within our community - The Children's Haven.The Children's Haven promotes the health and happiness of children impacted by abuse and neglect. Children are served through three main programs: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), the WellStar Family Visitation Program, and Prevent Child Abuse Cherokee. The organization also operates a Caregiver's Closet stocked with clothing, toiletries, diapers and other supplies offered free to foster families in need. The Children's Haven is committed to helping build successful children through programs that increase their safety and improve their educational, social and emotional well-being. They serve approximately 350+ disadvantaged children annually right in our own backyard.
The "Champions for Charity" fundraiser kicks off May 17th and ends by the conclusion of the final Championship game (best of 3)!
